THE "A"-TEAM
Our valued employees...Our bagged Fuji apples and logo'd apples require intense labour and dedication to produce the perfect apples for our customers.  We have a special team of workers to produce these apples.  They are called the "A"-Team!

LOGO'D APPLES
Here are the five main steps in the process.  You can click on any of the images to view the full photo.

1. In late June-early July, selected apples are covered with specially constructed bags.
2. The first layer of the bags is removed.
3. The final bag is removed, revealing a white apple, untouched by the sun.
4. Decals are applied at this point to personalize the apples.  We do this for many companies across Canada.
5. The apples colour in the sun and when the decal is removed...voilą!  Logo'd apples!

BAGGED APPLES
The process begins immediately following blossom by identifying the strong pollination areas in the orchard.

We then thin the fruit on the trees, leaving only the biggest and the strongest. The reason for this is to produce large and well-colored fruit. Late June, early July we cover the individual apples with a specially constructed bag produced for us in Japan where this technique originated. Late September, early October we remove the bags and the fruit is then left on the tree until it reaches proper color and maturity. Ideally 15 brix or better. The fruit is then harvested and segregated, boxed and shipped or stored for a period of time until the customer requires the fruit.
