Kelowna Land and Orchard is a working apple orchard of 150 acres which includes a thriving agri-tourism business. Our popular guided hay wagon
orchard tours run 3 times daily, 7 days a week. During peak season our visitors in a day will include 8 10 escorted motor coach tours with 55 passengers on each bus, 3 public tours and tours for retirement homes, community groups and school groups. We strive to offer every visitor a behind-the-scenes look at a working farm.
Our farm store is stocked with fresh pressed apple juice made on-site, the best quality in season fruit, local preserves, fresh baked apple pie, ice-cream, country crafts and gifts. Our guests can visit our farm animals in their new Western Town setting and enjoy a meal in our Teahouse Restaurant which overlooks the city of Kelowna.
Kelowna Land and Orchard is also the home of the famous Fuji apple which is grown in a bag on the tree! Our guests learn how we use an old Asian technology to grow The Perfect Apple. We then
tattoo the skin of the apple with a companys logo to create a unique advertisement used by many companies and featured on BCTV during their tour of the Okanagan.
Kelowna Land and Orchard has always been a strong supporter of the local community and the city of Kelowna. Our community involvement includes support of the S.P.C.A., the Heart and Stroke Association, the Boy Scouts, school groups, the Food Bank, the Womens Shelter, the Multicultural Society, the Orchard Museum, the 4H Club, the Cultural Corridor Project, the Kelowna Symphony and many more.
Kelowna Land and Orchard
offers every visitor a comprehensive look at what the Okanagan has always been famous for its rolling hills covered in trees laden with delicious fruit, the taste of preserves made from that fruit, apple juice so fresh its like eating an apple from the tree and memorable meals made from local, natural ingredients.
From blossom to harvest our guests leave our farm knowing what it takes to grow an apple!
